History of the Barn

The previous owners saved the timbers and beams from a local farm’s barn that they tore down. From these timbers and beams, the barn was built and was the living structure for five years while they built our house. Once our house was complete, the barn moved 300 feet to its current location. It is there that the foundation was poured and the barn was extended by twelve feet. The original machinery and tools that built our house is still in the barn and was used to finish the third floor that is Barn In The Wood.
